Rendez-vous au Sénégal - AFD/Aide et Action

Effet de l'exode rural, 25% de la population totale du Sénégal est aujourd'hui installée à Dakar, la capitale. Le besoin en structures éducatives est gigantesque. Le projet d'éducation des banlieues de Dakar, financé par l'Agence Française de Développement (AFD) et en partenariat avec Aide et Action (financement et accompagnement des projets d'écoles), a notamment permis la construction de 320 classes d'école primaire. China's Energy Diplomacy 2009

After a three-day visit to Saudi Arabia beginning 10 Feb 2009, Chinese President Hu Jintao started an Africa tour aimed at enhancing China's friendship with developing countries in the region. The trip, which was described as "a journey of friendship and cooperation", has taken him to Saudi Arabia, Mali, Senegal, Tanzania and Mauritius, and left Port Louis on 17 Feb. Chinese Vice President Xi Jinping left Beijing on 10 Feb for his six-nation tour, which includes Mexico, Colombia, Venezuela, Brazil and Malta. China and Russia signed seven agreements on a package cooperation program for energy resources on 17 Feb. The agreements include a pipeline construction project, a long-term crude oil trading deal and a financing scheme between the China Development Bank and the Russia Oil Pipeline Transport Company. Chinese Premier Wen Jiabao also met with Russian Deputy Prime Minister Igor Sechin at Zhongnanhai in Beijing, China on 17 Feb, 2009. [ voir sur Youtube.com ]

THE DAKAR-DIAMNIADIO HIGHWAY

The first work items of the 1st section Malick Sy - Patte d'Oie started since 29 July 2005. The works comprise: The reconstruction and extension of each of the two roadsides of the existing highway which will be transformed from two lanes to three lanes at the completion of the works.
